Amen to Orlando for taking a Pro-Active approach to domestic violence. Years ago I was the victim of a violent stalker and there were no laws to protect. LE's hands were tied until a crime was committed. If this new technique can thwart even one assault, there is value. Prevention is a large part of the cure and it doesn't cost the taxpayers anything for the cops to ask questions.

And a note to the poster who believes women use Domestic Violence to prosper in divorce proceedings. B/S. Women use MEN to prosper in divorce proceedings. For some, that's what marriage is for. Don't like it; don't marry -- it's a fools' investment.

One can only hope that surrounding cities and counties in Florida will step up to the plate as OPD and Orlando has done.

We jail Daddies who are innocent in a "No Fault" divorce and of nothing more than not being able to keep up with the ridiculous taxes called child support assigned by the courts with no rhyme or reason based in reality. These taxes on NCP Daddies sometimes are greater than their gross earnings.

The child support is awarded in hearings for divorce where in 70 to 95% of the time the man is presented with a divorce filing he doesn't want that tells him he has "No Fault" then continues to take away children, property, money, future income, civil rights, freedom to travel and more. "At Fault" real criminals have more rights and due process.

And, I have not even covered the prognosis for the children of divorce where Dad has been cut out of his children's life in 'No Fault' divorce.

Lets count the resulting rape, pedophilia, murder, substance abuse, prostitution, and child abuse resulting from this Feminist policy of 'kick daddy out the door, ignore the Constitution, give him just the clothes on his back, and tell him "See Ya!" '. Removing Daddy turns the kids into 'Feral Humans'.

Watch this conference for anyone suggesting that maybe the 'No Fault' Daddies should not be divorced or kicked out of children's lives. It will never happen.

This is what Battered Mothers promotes at its conferences.

What a steaming pile of horse manure. Women are no more patient, nurturing, less violent than men are - men are just different about these things.

All the while doing a spectacularly dismal job of being a "mother" by raising a family of career criminals.

You want to raise a kid on your own? Knock yourself out. I also don’t like being presented with a bill for a poverty stricken single mother who choose to have a baby when she clearly knows she shouldn’t have one. I don’t agree with people who say that everyone has the right to have a baby regardless of their situation. But once the kid is here, what can you do? You can’t let them die in a gutter somewhere.

However, I don’t really object to helping a pregnant poor mother get nutritious food, poor kids (from 2-parent families too) getting their one hot meal a day free at school, and child care subsidies that allow a woman to work and decrease the burden she is to society. I am also for men getting subsidized (free, actually) medical care, their kids getting free meals if they’re poor, and child care subsidies if they need it. People are poor and there’s no magic pill to get them out of poverty.

I would object (if I were an MRA) not to any of the programs you mentioned but to single females getting pregnant on purpose and roping a guy in to pay for child support when he clearly didn’t want to become a father.

First of all, there are indeed people who “beg” because it gets them $300-$400 a day. They’re not actually poor; it’s a lifestyle choice. That being said, there are lots of poor people begging that are actually poor and don’t (at that time) have any other options.

So you’re comparing people who would severely injure kids to get more $$ with poor moms? And then you have the nerve to suggest that the state should have the right to step in and take away a poor woman’s kids because being poor means she is somehow morally unfit? I remember when some Republican years ago suggested that all kids on state aid be taken away from their parents and put in orphanages. I bet you’d be for that.

Do you also think that poor men, who are unfairly mostly ignored by welfare systems, should also be ignored and even have their kids taken away from them? Even if you believe that men are super duper parents and way more important than women in their kids’ lives?

And you make the same argument that lots of conservatives/libertarians make—you are loathe to have the government pay for anything for the poor and instead insist that wealthy people (and charitable organizations) take care of it. The major problem with this, of course, is that this would never, ever happen. (Why don’t they do it now????) Plus, it’s not fair for some poor person to hope to maneuver a patchwork safety net system (which many do anyway) in order to get help. There is a purpose for government, and that is to exist to help the people. Maybe you forgot this!

I know, I know....your taxes go to those programs.....so do mine... which means that conservatives/libertarians are giving twice...once by the gun (Taxes) and again on their own.

It would be interesting to note that I myself am a recipient of only one of the above mentioned programs. I make "too much" to receive anything but one item from the 'government'. Yet as some of the above posters believe, I should not be allowed to be a primary residential parent because I have to rely on a program to care for my child. PUHLEASE!!!! I was a SAHM for 6 years at my husband's request. Since having no choice but to gain employment due to his continued and escalating abuse of me by him, I have managed to work for a little under 3 years now. In the course of that 3 years I have managed to raise my income from 4 digit to 5 digit earnings. The first year I was employed I was in 4 digit earnings (which is poverty even for one person). I am now in 5 digit earnings and in one year I doubled my income. Yes you heard that right - DOUBLED!!!! I hope to double it again in two years after I finish my education. Should not be difficult if I can focus on my studies and if my abuser will calm down and quit his games!!!! Oh yeah I know ask for the impossible. At least it is down to a predictable dull roar with the attempts at control and abuse being fairly.....well you know.....predictable.....

The whole point behind this is that without being a recipient of some sort of assistance I might very well stay 'stuck' in poverty forever. Now should the child and I have to live a life in poverty simply because I finally grew a set as so many are fond of saying and said no more abuse? And while I am on THAT topic - why is it always considered manly when a person of feminine persuasion actually stands up for herself and this is construed as growing a set? Why are females always perceived as 'less than'? That a woman cannot possibly be 'strong' and 'feminine'?

That is the content for another post so I will close with this statement:

- no insanely high child support payments to make
- no risk of being thrown in jail for failure to pay CS
- no need to close down my business (the CSA can't deal with individuals who have variable income like small business owners)
- no nagging wife ;)
- clean house
- home cooked meals :)
- over 80% savings over the cost of a western "wife"
- ability to keep dating women in my area without being accused of cheating on anyone!
- possibility to choose an "alpha-female" as egg-donor (basically a very beautiful and smart woman :)
- possibility to choose a relatively young surrogate mother, which lowers the risk of a lot of diseases for the children

Geesh can I gag myself right now? I can generally come up with a real zinger but for this one there are just no words. None at all!!!!!!!!!!

LisaKS, without even cracking open a single court document and merely looking at this woman's own blog, it's obvious that she suffers from paranoia, craves attention and validation from her mother, and childishly (literally) demonizes those who disagree with her. She continually portrays herself both as a child deserving of unconditional sympathy AND as an adult whose word about events as a child should be unquestioned. Ponder all that as you read on:

Look at the picture drawn by her brother on the web site that portrays a girlfriend of her father as a demon. It's disturbing not for the reason that she is claiming (her father and all those who agree with him are evil!) but rather that the hostility directed at her father is seething rather than reactionary to anything he specifically did. This woman's crime was dating her father and for that she is labeled a monster. This attitude exists to the current day. This woman did NOTHING wrong to deserve such seething hatred!

Glenn's picture is also unflattering. It's grainy and his face is puffy and his hand is shown in a menacing motion. This is an allegory for how she distorts those associated with her father, and opposing her mother, as warped and evil. At the same time, she knows to worship her mother because after seeing what happened to her father for getting on his bad side, it's best to not cross "mommy dearest."

Her blog is vast but from what I went through, all the documented claims of her father's abuse are specious and based upon her emotional interpretation of what he said. If he admitted he was in the same room where an injury occurred, that's a confession of guilt. If he didn't use the exact same words to describe an event years later, that's a sign of him changing his story. She claims to have letters from Glenn's "followers" threatening her (you can almost see the tears as she looks for sympathy) but no examples or even snipets of such. Anyone disagreeing with her is "attacking" her.

One thing is for sure: This is one messed up young woman.

Did you ever think (and I know it is documented in Jennifer's blog - that when she and her brother lived with their father, the significant other to dad (the 'second' and we know all about them....) was abusive in her own right? Oh of course not because all 'seconds' are wonderful. Yeah right.........(rolls eyes)...........

Jennifer could see Glenn in this way - you do not know what is in her head. I myself see a puffy man too....but that is another post ;-)

I would agree with you here, although horrid abuse may have taken place, there sure seem to be some holes in there. That being said, both kids going to university and taking pyc scares me a little. Someone that unstable hopefully will not be able to play with peoples heads.

.........I didn't even catch that the first time i read the site. I have to admit that I have rolled over a few times and smacked my wife pretty good and she has done it to me too. I actually came close to rolling over with my arm once right after she had nose surgery which would have been incredibly damaging had my arm of landed Elbow to Nose. ......Here's what I think: If she was my kid, I'd say good riddance. Yes, I know they're both brainwashed and as children, they are victims, but even as a child I knew the difference between right and wrong. I know plenty of children who did awful, terrible things due to peer pressure but I also know some who grew up and realized they had made a mistake and atoned for it. She's absolutely right: She's a grown woman today but she can't go running back to the playpen and cry she was abused as a child when confronted. Either be an adult OR a child! She had the opportunity to tell the truth as a child and she blew it. She has an opportunity to tell the truth today, and she's still blowing it.

Not much to learn from this case. Even if the father in this case was abusive...

1. that does not invalidate the existence and widespread occurrence of PAS in other cases. Saying that "PAS didn't apply to me, so it must never be true for anyone and therefore is an abuser's strategy" is one heck of an extrapolation.

2. it also does not absolve the mother in this case of "justified" PAS, i.e. continually forcing the kids to relive and recount the horrible things that happened to them as opposed to helping them heal and move on. (Not saying that the mother did that, but the daughter's constant anger and need for validation from everyone including Glenn would be consistent with that).

There doesn't seem to be any value to publicizing this case or having others "investigate" it from the outside, since it would be impossible to draw general conclusions about the system, or about PAS, in either direction.

Well then let's just ignore BMCC and the Stop Family Violence petition AND THE HUNDREDS OF MOMS WHO VISIT SITES REGARDING THIS VERY SCENARIO, daily?

Stockholm syndrome causes the victims to side with their abusers. Note that Jennifer is not as much attacking the father, but defending her mother. Hence I think it could be a case of stockholm syndrome happening here. Whatever it is, I sympathize with Jennifer - for one way or the other, she was abused by at least one of her parents - it does not matter which one, it still is sad.

Whatever the truth is here, there's no doubt that Jennifer is either very dishonest or very irrational- either that or she thinks her readers are complete fools. At her site she posts as evidence for her claims things that actually contradict said claims. For example, she says her dad admitted to breaking her moms nose, yet in the transcript she gives us, he claims he did it, but by accident. Clearly this is not a confession of wrong doing.

When we were kids, this nice, quiet lady my father used to work with would give my brother and I very expensive presents at Christmas. Later, I wondered why she did that...she was good friends with my father, but my brother and I didn't know her very well. Turns out she had two sons her ex-husband fled the country with. Much later, my father said the sons' father had brainwashed them to the extent they wanted nothing to do with their mother as adults.
I have no doubt a woman is capable of doing this as well; a father taking off with his kids is automatically viewed as an evil abuser. I don't think it's too much to ask for hardcore proof that this woman was justified in fleeing the country.

I have to agree, I couldn't nail down anything in her site. She's all over the place. I especially loved the part where she accused Glenn of mobilizing 50,000 readers to discredit the word of an abused child.

This is because when you hear a woman has taken a child or children it is because she is trying to protect them from abuse. When a father takes a child or children it is because he wants to take them away from the mother.

I find it hard to believe about the 50,000 too. God help this world if there are that many of "YOU" out there (speaking to MRAs of course)....

We need to be very skeptical of abuse claims. We know that feminists and other exploitive individuals and groups love to use them to advance their bizarre agendas and to make money.

Post the worst 2 emails here, with headers and IP addresses, and we'll evaluate what happened. Otherwise, we don't know if you're crying wolf or not.

Christmas time can be very emotional for many people. Suicides are extremely common at this time. However, when you provoke a person with injustice, tyranny, and oppression, cutting to the very heart of his life by taking away his children, his home, and his reputation, you can create a scene such as occured in Covina, CA Christmas Eve.
Bruce Pardo, obviously overwhelmed by the injustice heaped on him by the divorce courts, shot and killed his ex-wife, and seven other people, then set fire to the house. Three additional persons are still missing and presumed dead. Several more were injured, including at least two children.

Pardo was described as quiet and friendly by neighbors and co-workers. An all-around nice guy, the last person they would suspect of a rampage like this. Unfortunately, the injustices of the family courts, heaped upon most men in courts across the country, is more than sufficient to trigger such an explosive, emotional reaction. Our courts and legislatures really need to examine the facts, to see the persecution of men, and to make changes to alleviate the volatile emotional impact on them.

In a recent article below, one writer bemoans the fact that non-profits are going to be shutting their doors left and right when it is really good news for millions of families. This means that Women's shelters are going to have to start cutting back on those $150K to $350K salaried directors. As audits have repeatedly shown very few of the women who live in the shelters really fit the model that the shelter workers like to claim to donors and supporters. Fraud in and fraud out. We are going to have to begin to prioritize and review much more carefully who gets our community service money and what bogus, sociopathic, emotional plea, scam gets whacked in the wallet. I can think of nothing better to bring legitimacy to the Domestic Violence For Profit Industry than to get rid of the big money. Then only the altruists will be left. When we quit destroying our families and their assets with Feminist policies and no fault divorce we will have less need in our communities and more wealth to help those who really need it. We can save literally tens of millions of fathers, children, and even mothers by getting rid of the false advocacies of many in the DV industry who like to make such false claims as 70% of male batterers get custody; the greatest danger to pregnant women is the child's father; and women go to the ER more for Domestic Violence injuries than any other reason. In the past when unchallenged by the media, these types of false pleas would have brought in a treasure trove of wealth as a result of these shocking, but knowingly very false claims. The director of a Dallas Womens Shelter very recently admitted to using shelter funds to present shocking but completely misrepresentative statements about DV. She said she did it to raise awareness (and to collect more money from donors?) This director, who makes over $150,000/year admitted these claims were knowingly false in an interview with a liberal journalist. Excerpts of this transcript can be found at www.glennsacks. com . Now the public has began to be aware of the DV industry scams and falsehoods. The recent Dallas Bus Signs, as exposed at www.glennsacks. com are a prime example of an out of control non-profit defrauding their donors. ..............It's makes men feel good to have what we do recognized in reverse by showing a women doing the tasks we never see them doing. And it gives us hope that women might notice all the things they would have to do with out guys around.

I know plenty of women who do "outside" chores. My sister is one. She has a garden outside which she cares for, she also mows the grass when needed (1.5 acres with a push mower). Oh but she is a rare bird. Okay I did it as well before I dovorced and most definitely after I dovorced. more denial and hatred.....

I just suggest you go read this one yourself. They complain on ad nauseum about how this is wayyyyyyyyy too much money for a man to pay to a woman for child support. I recall one K Fed who is sitting high on the hog accepting tens of thousands of dollars from Spears and no mention is made of this - oh wait, this is so the chidlren can have the same lifestyle they would have had if they remained with the mother. Well then why is the situation the same in reverse?

Actually state are allowed to set standard interest and it changes on a regular basis - usually yearly. Florida for example has set as standard interest right now of 10 or 11 percent. learn dude before ya post - here's yer sign!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

12% is double that of what the federial law allows!!! States are to set an interest rate with a min. 3% and max. 6%!!!!!
