There is finally going to be some action on the Grigorieva/Gibson case soon. It appears that quite possibly Gibson will be arrested for the assault on Grigorieva. Read more about it here or under the commentary. Now you may ask - Petunia - (yep dats my name) why is this misogyny? This is NOT! What is blatant hatred of females is in the comments below the article. Wow women are less than children? Really?? How do you think children are brought into this world. You can have your little wigglies all you want but without the vessel to carry said child, you have nothing. You cease to exist. And we are much closer to not needing the wigglies than we are to not needing the vessel. One need only look at the internet and search for sperm banks to see evidence of this. Sperm Banks - legal, surrogate mothers - not so much so.

This is a She said/he said case and there were no witnesses. All we have is some female's accusation and as we all know, a female's word is worthless like a child's. And remember that the burden of proof is on the prosecution. Mel doesn't have to do anything or prove he's innocent. His lawyer doesn't even have to put on the defence because it's the prosecutor's job to prove the allegations and since all we have in this case is some female's claim then there is no case.

TMOTS on SYG and his opinion of rape

Seems that TMOTS feels that the rape victim cannot tell if she has been sexually assaulted because she was drunk/high on drugs and passed out. Are you as angry about this extremely hateful statement as I am? I can tell when I have been assaulted sexually or even for that matter when I have had consensual sex.

MTV DV mom Portwood and Marx's stupidity in ASS U ME'ing

Let's see now:

Police in Anderson, Ind., have officially charged "Teen Mom" star Amber Portwood with two felonies and one misdemeanor for domestic battery.

Excellent - it's about time women who use violence are actually highlighted as being violent - instead of the usual attempts to marginalize women's violence. So seeing 'domestic battery' (even though I thought it was domestic assault - not battery?) in there is definitely a step forward towards true equality, not this selective equality that feminists keep pushing for.


However, this is the disturbing part:

During a September episode of season two of the MTV hit show, Portwood was seen repeatedly slapping, punching and kicking her then-fiance, Gary Shirley. Police said that Portwood is facing felony charges because Portwood and Shirley's young daughter, Leah, was present when the alleged violence occurred.

Whoa... now, hold on - am I correct in understanding that she is facing a felony purely on the basis that their (not just hers) daughter was present and thus witnessed it - and NOT because she was abusing her then-fiancé?


This seems to suggest that it's perfectly acceptable to abuse men - so long as you do it quietly away from the children...

I do sympathize with your plight, as much as I sympathize with any one (male or female) in this situation. Bad people come in both genders.

But this is equality....why should you be treated differently? Are you saying you should be?

I read the article and in no place did I see her ask to be treated differently. I saw her say that men are not the only ones to go through this issue. I know many women who are on the verge of homelessness or those who are there. Yet when "society" looks at these moms, they must be unfit monsters. They are not. They are many times women who have issues that could be fixed (like Spears) or in most cases, they have battled against an abusive ex-partner and LOST. And the NCM's who have lost ahve something else to bear, the children have lost too.

NC Moms are like men with breast cancer. Same problem, tiny percentage of those who suffer from the condition.

However, unlike male breast cancer, NC Moms often don't have as severe of a condition. (If I remember correctly) less than half of NC Mothers are ordered to pay CS. When they are ordered, it's often a lower amount. From anecdotal evidence, I've seen mothers who are behind in CS get lenient treatment compared to men with arrears.

Okay lets examine this statistic posed by Armageddon. According to http://www.cancer.org/docroot/CRI/content/CRI_2_4_1X_What_are_the_key_statistics_for_male_breast_cancer_28.asp, there were 1910 diagnosed cases of breast cancer in the US. Now how many diagnosed cases are there of NCM's? According to http://www.brainchildmag.com/essays/spring2009_read.asp there are over 2.2 million NCM's in the US. Hmmm that sort of puts your little comparison in doubt now doesn;t it Armageddon?

I hate to be the cynic here and I'm certainly sorry for Trisha's plight but I have to ask if 'Trisha' is an alias? I can't help but wonder if she might have a more traditionally masculine appellation and got snagged because some bureaucrat thought she was male.

Now for the readers who are wondering what the original article concerns, it is about women's cancer funding for breast, ovarian, and cervical cancerS (yes that is more than one kind of cancer) versus the funding for male prostate cancer (one cancer). So lets see now, the types of cancers that affect women can hit at generally any age after puberty, and prostate cancer hits in middle age. Women's cancers affect child bearing, wheras prostate cancer victims/survivors are generally past child producing stages.

The older you are, the greater the risk for getting prostate cancer. The remarkably sharp increase in incidence with age is a hallmark of the disease. Sixty percent of all newly diagnosed cases and almost 80 percent of all deaths occur in men 70 years of age and older.

From 1998 to 2002, the median age at diagnosis was 68 years. The percentages of people diagnosed with prostate cancer based on age were as follows:

0.0 percent were diagnosed under age 20
0.0 percent between 20 and 34
0.5 percent between 35 and 44
8.3 percent between 45 and 54
26.9 percent between 55 and 64
37.0 percent between 65 and 74
22.6 percent between 75 and 84
4.7 percent 85+ years of age.

Compare to the breast cancer stats:

Approximately 0.0% were diagnosed under age 20;
1.9% between 20 and 34;
10.5% between 35 and 44;
22.5% between 45 and 54;
23.7% between 55 and 64;
19.6% between 65 and 74;
16.2% between 75 and 84;
and 5.5% 85+ years of age.

Now how about cervical cancer:

Approximately 0.2% were diagnosed under age 20;
14.9% between 20 and 34;
26.2% between 35 and 44;
23.5% between 45 and 54;
15.8% between 55 and 64;
10.4% between 65 and 74;
6.6% between 75 and 84;
and 2.5% 85+ years of age.

Here we see that women under the age of 20 are being diagnosed with cervical cancer - hear that UNDER 20!!!! And almost half of all cervical cancer cases (41.3 percent) were diagnosed in women who were still in childbearing stage. Couple that to men at .5 percent - 1/2 of one percent.

Now on with the last one - ovarian cancer - one that will directly affect childbearing more so than cervical cancer. For those men who need a science lesson, this is where our HALF of the genetic material for those beautiful children comes from. Yes we donate one half, you dimwits!!!

Approximately 1.3% were diagnosed under age 20;
3.5% between 20 and 34;
7.4% between 35 and 44;
18.9% between 45 and 54;
22.3% between 55 and 64;
19.9% between 65 and 74;
19.0% between 75 and 84;
and 7.6% 85+ years of age.

Again we have 12.2 percent of all diagnosis are made in child bearing years and women under 20 are affected AGAIN!!!! Men truly do not become affected by prostate cancer until the age of 45. If precautions are taken and MEN get over there I am he-man attitudes and go to their doctors for the exam (oh yeah lets not get into THAT conversation) chances are excellent that discovery will be made at an early point in time. Many of the survivors of prostate cancer implore men to get THE exam, they say they did not.

Okay now that we have seen more female hatred in full swing, lets move on.

Bob did you ever stop to think that maybe there is another reason for single moms. Man in jail perhaps? Man has died or been killed? MAN IS NO GOOD? I guess Stuart does not read reports by the American Psychological Association, specifically the report entitled Violence in the Family: Report of the American Psychological Association Presidential Task Force on Violence and the Family written in 1996 which states:

•40 to 60 percent of men who abuse their wife or girlfriend also abuse their children

I manage to get my point across well enough to ensure that father's rights nutjobs visit my website daily (and you "men" - cough snort gag puke - know who you are) understand what I am typing. This is just another way to minimize women using my website to do so.

Sentencing discounts for women?

There are several studies that have found that, when men and women with equal criminal histories are charged with the same crime, men get the more severe sentence. One such study found that sex played the greatest role in sentencing disparities - even greater than race. That's the female sentencing discount.

This research examines a newspaper sample of men and women who killed multiple people in a single domestic altercation during the years 1993 to 2002. As all these perpetrators of multiple domestic homicide are eligible to be capitally tried, differences in capital sentencing are examined using bivariate statistics and descriptive, case-oriented analyses. Women who kill their children using a knife or firearm are disproportionately sentenced to death, whereas men who kill in the context of a separation are granted leniency in regard to the death penalty. The interaction between the gender of the offender and the crime committed is discussed.

Going easy on men who kill partners

Everette Simpson married three times, and three times he murdered his wife. Simpson stabbed his first wife 16 times with a butcher knife and then served nine years in prison. He stabbed his second wife with a hatchet, was allowed to plead guilty to manslaughter and served 11 years before being paroled. Last month in Slidell, Simpson beat his third wife and her brother to death and then set the house on fire to conceal the murders. He died in the fire, so at least he won't be released and marry again.

Sheriff Jack Strain asked how a "monster" like this could have been free to kill again. The answer is simple -- the national average sentence for men who kill their female partners is two to six years in prison. Criminal justice systems and juries do not, on average, treat the murder of women by their husbands terribly seriously.

In contrast, women who kill their male partners are sentenced to an average of 15 years, three times as much as male defendants, despite the fact that many of these women killed in self-defense.

Women in abusive relationships find themselves trapped. They know that the system will not, or sometimes cannot, protect them from husbands who promise to track them down and kill them. Ashley Ruffins was stabbed to death last year after the police in both Orleans and Jefferson parishes failed to answer her repeated begging to enforce a protective order. Even when the police respond immediately, as they did in Mandeville last month, they could not protect Adrienne McGee from being shot down in the middle of the street in broad daylight.

But if these women try to save their own lives, fight back and end up killing their batterers, they often face life sentences in prison. Their children are effectively orphaned. Three recent New Orleans trials, all held in the same month, illustrate this fact:...

I also found numerous "men's websites" claiming women receive a sentencing discount versus men. I guess we are back at "he said, she said" again. Sadly the only winner in that scenario in today's world is the one with the money. So I guess that would be the man.....

Not only should she avoid punishment for murder, but she should be getting stimulus money as well!

I'm glad she's out - let's make a spectacle of it, "Onion"-style. Hell, I'll bet if we started a campaign promoting it (women have no responsibility when they murder), we can demand it as necessary to teh patriarchy, and that women *should* be treated like retards and imbecilles by the court system. Hopefully, in some perverse way, because MRA's are promoting some actual sexism, they'll campaign for some actual equality.

So what will be different OD? You MRA's already believe this and say this every chance you get, so what will be different? Oh I get it, you will now do it in complete mainstream media...... men are at the back of the bus......hey why do women have 30 women only colleges and men have 3...is that fair?

How quickly john forgets that only a few short decades ago, all colleges were men only and women were NOT allowed to attend, even if they paid up completely.

Shooting deaths: 'None of it makes sense'

The events that led to the shooting deaths of two Okaloosa County sheriff's deputies Saturday began in a small top-floor apartment in Fort Walton Beach - with an argument over a tube of Clearasil.

Apparently this had much more to do with an an insane person than a "tube of Clearasil", however.

Now you understand why this is on here but who in god's name would be cheering on a man such as this you may ask?
