More Misogyny online - Mel Gibson case

There is finally going to be some action on the Grigorieva/Gibson case soon. It appears that quite possibly Gibson will be arrested for the assault on Grigorieva. Read more about it here or under the commentary. Now you may ask - Petunia - (yep dats my name) why is this misogyny? This is NOT! What is blatant hatred of females is in the comments below the article. Wow women are less than children? Really?? How do you think children are brought into this world. You can have your little wigglies all you want but without the vessel to carry said child, you have nothing. You cease to exist. And we are much closer to not needing the wigglies than we are to not needing the vessel. One need only look at the internet and search for sperm banks to see evidence of this. Sperm Banks - legal, surrogate mothers - not so much so.

This is a She said/he said case and there were no witnesses. All we have is some female's accusation and as we all know, a female's word is worthless like a child's. And remember that the burden of proof is on the prosecution. Mel doesn't have to do anything or prove he's innocent. His lawyer doesn't even have to put on the defence because it's the prosecutor's job to prove the allegations and since all we have in this case is some female's claim then there is no case.

P.S. and let's remember all of those "r@pe" cases where the female seemed so convincing but was shown to be a complete liar. 95% of r@pe cases are false.

They are doing these kids the kind of favour that most people wouldn't DREAM of doing for a child, and that in itself makes them practically saints in my eyes. Good on them for doing it.

So sonja why is it any of YOUR business if a newly created single mother gets assistance after leaving an abusive relationship? Oh yeah because there "could be" a dad out there somewhere and who cares if he was the reason this poor single mother is asking for help and is now single. he has rights damn it and we ust at all costs ensure those rights are adhered to. (end my OWN sarcasm)....

As far as GG mentioning another postsre's family member adopting otherwise "unadoptable" chidlren, those parents now get assiatnce for life in caring for those children. If one of those children is never able to work, the parents receive government handouts FOREVER. I am glad that someone has taken on a job nobody else appears to want, but they should do so if they can afford it. I am sure that the govt. programs helped solidify their decision. Plus you get more as an adoptive parent if a child is deemed unadoptable.

As far as CPS picking and choosing whose allegations to investigate, I know of several women who have been investigated. One had allegations of physical abuse called in on her. These were promptly added to upon CPS arrival to sexual abuse (both of which were unfounded but caused this woman to have to uproot herself and the children). I know of another case in which the FATHER alleged physical abuse by the motehr's boyfriend. Even managed to get one of his crony friends to call that one in. One problem with that issue - mother had NO boyfriend. CPS still investigated. I know of many other CPS investigations, I would share but confidentiality requests demand I not share, unless those people feel comfortable in doing so. I know of many cases also in the reverse whereby school officials and others have called in neglect or abuse complaints on the father (typically custodial - although I know of several non-custodial cases as well) and those were IGNORED. So go spout (or in this case) flush your shit talk down the drain. Shit belongs in a toilet, not on a blog. BuhBYE!!!!

In any case, in this day and age she should be able to take care of herself. As a former military spouse of 15 years I could have gone after half of my ex’s retirement. I didn’t because I do take care of myself. I don’t expect anyone else to do that for me. Although it would be nice to hit the lottery! lol

Not only does she minimize women but she also basically says here that a woman who is married for 15 years, stays home should just let the ex-husband walk away with all of the joint, marital assets. Retirement is a marital asset, unless it was saved before or after the marriage. You can bet your bottom dollar she would advocate for a man who has stayed home to get child support, alimony (if the wife was able to do so) and that this would include ALL marital assets.

It is sad that some women take the anti-woman agenda to such extremes.

Actually Phil, maturity is based on several criteria. Emotional and psychological maturity are not identical across the board. This is why you can have a group of 15 year olds and all will be at different levels of maturity (physical, mental and emotional). Some of these 15 year olds are responsible enough to be left to care for younger chidlren. Others quite frankly are not. You also have differing levels of physicall maturity with several factors deciding on when a child will reach complete maturity. It has also been shown that boys mature quicker than girls on a physical level. You also have varying degrees of that also.

One simply cannot base anything on a blanket statement. This is why many so-called "feminists" have an issue with the MRA/FR type. On nearly every forum/blog/message board available to the MRA you see blanket misogyny. This is yet another case of - oh I was screwed over by one woman, so all women are bad, even female children are bad; men are good, there are no bad men, and boys are good since they have an appendage hanging between their legs and are by virtue - male.

There are bad men, there are bad women, sadly society is comprised of individuals who are less than perfect. We rely on some of these less than perfect individuals to mete out punishment for crimes. Sometimes they get it, sometimes they don't.

So Phil, next time why don't you think before you post in the future. To make such blanket statements does not bode well for your cause.

Grandmother wants to STEAL a 10 week old baby from the mother

My son is ther father of a 10 week old baby girl. We filed a petition to establish paternity . She had until 2/23 to respond to the papers served to her on 1/29. On 3/9 our attorney filed for a default hearing. On 3/9 their attorney filed a response of denial. After speaking the attorneys agreed that both parties should get together and resolve this out of court. My son is asking for standard Texas visitation with overnight visits. He still lives at home while attending technical college and would not even be alone with the child. The mother also lives at home with her mother, her two brothers, her gransparents and three cousins. Baby makes 10 in the house but I have been told that dosen't matter. The baby sleeps in a crib in the living room. This is also the room the mother and her mother sleep in in the same bed. I worry about her crib being under a window. We have a much safter environment for her but do not want to take her away from her mom. WE just want the time he deserves. The meeting that was going to take place this week never happened. Their attorney never retunred the calls from ours.My son is sending child support weekly and has not seen his daughter since she was 12 days old and that visit was for about 5 minutes tunil the mother told he he had no rights to the baby. Our attorney says next step if they will not talk is to file for a temp order. That could take up to 20 days. My son is distraught about missing so much of his daughters early life. WE don't even know if she is growing okay. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas that could help us?

I have only one suggestion for you Grandma from HELL.....GET OUT OF YOUR SON'S LIFE!!!!! You had your time at being a mother, leave being a mother to (drumroll folks) THE MOTHER!!!!

Actually this is the main factor. Bring up equal custody and what's the first thing that happens? A fem immediately screams that men just want to pay less child support.

Meaning, clearly, that women just want to receive more.

If the "types" of women who are in your life are like this, then I feel very badly for you. Now with that being said, child support is about giving the child (as closely as possible) the same lifestyle enjoyed by the child when the couple was still together. A child who lived in a million dollar home should not have to be living in a studio apartment simply because the father is too selfish to support said child. Also in your little world, I do not know where an area where it is possible for a mother and the children to live on what a father is court ordered to pay in child support. Should the child suffer simply because mom or dad (whoever the case may be) couldn't keep their clothes on? Or because they decided to no longer live together as man and wife? Or (as in most cases of child support revolt) the man is abusive, controlling and feels "that bitch should not get MY MONEY?" "That bitch" will not "get" your money indefinitely (unless of course you decide to revolt). At some point she will cease to benefit indirectly from the payments made to support a child. So get over yourself already. Most of you MRA's are such a whiny little bunch - my 5 yr old is more mature than you are.....

Ahhh poor baby took him 20 minutes to write his hate filled speech (and even then he could not spell nor use proper grammar)

So women are wish dads would share in child/house care so they can get out of the house and away from the kids for a change. Men wish women would share in outside work so they could stay at home and with the kids for a change.

It's amazed me how stay at home moms are praised for choosing to sacrifice their careers and outside lives to take care of child and home and working moms are praised for choosing to sacrifice time with their children and be the breadwinner while simultaneously scorning stay at home dads for not being real men by choosing not to work and are scorned for choosing to make mom to stay home while they go out into the world to enjoy the easy life.

The hypocricy of that sentence twisted me up so bad it took me almost 20 minutes to get it typed correctly.

DISCLAIMER: Petunia has no fingers only hooves with which to type so grammer and typographical errors abound on this site. What is Danny's excuse? The entire second paragraph in his vermin hate-filled speech against women is exactly ONE sentence. ONE!!! Anyone who thinks that the typical stay-at-home parent works harder than the typical parent who works in the real world is living in a fantasy land. Especially if the working parent is earning enough to support the other parent and enable them to stay at home.

Here we have yet another "man" (and note I use that term loosely) who wants to peretuate the myth that a SAHM does nothing but sit on the couch, eat bonbons, watch Oprah, and get fat on the "mans" money. Another one for the flush-matic.

Here we have yet another instance of the abuses women must suffer. This is being passed around on various father's rights groups and touted as something that "should" happen if the woman cannot stop nagging. I am sorry there are just no words for this.
