More of Mark Godbey's rants about the evil protective parents

If the grandparents from Brazil do show up in the United States (they never will) one can only hope that the US government and the FBI takes a lead role in the prosecution of violations of US Code against family kidnappings and conspiracy to kidnap that “protective parents” deserve.

If i am reading this the right way, MG is saying that parents should not protect their children? okay I will read more and see if this is really what he meant. Because every parent who is a "GOOD" parent will want to protect their children from whatever is lurking in those dark corners. I know I do.

More curiously still, Sean Goldman has now returned to the United States and, by this account on ABC-TV, is happy to be on American soil and in fact gives every sign of remembering the original family home from which he had been abducted, and even the family pet cat. (David Goldman, his father, had not moved in the interim.) The only sour note is that the boy has not yet taken to addressing his father as “Dad,” but that might still come.

He is said to appear happy. By whose account? Strangers who paid to take this child from his SISTER?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Don't even get me started on taking a child away from a sibling - especially whent hose siblings share a parent who is deceased.

A number of bloggers have written about the Goldman case, but you appear to be the first who concentrates on the fact that the boy left behind a half-sister in Brazil. I would very much like to read your thoughts on when siblings should be kept together following the removal of a child from one country to another. Should this factor take priority over others and, if so, over which factors, under what conditions and why?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I feel that special considerations need to be made for children in step families. By all accounts this little boy has a sister he will more than likely never see again. She is also being thrust into the limelight. Also US MSM is not publicizing all the details. As far as what should be done, I am not an expert, I only know the heartache these children will suffer.

Also as far as taking priority - ie children's rights over a parents right? I do believe that a child's right should be the first right considered.

I believe that the kids rights should be placed above the parents. These two kids need to grow up knowing each other and being a part of each others lives. They should have visits with each other which could be easily arranged by letting Sean visit with his maternal family during the summer. I feel that something should have been arranged for this and put into writing.

I agree denom. I am just not an expert in law nor in psychology. I do not that kids hurt - sometimes more than parents.

Hypocrisy knows no bounds when you are a child abductor and a pedophile. The "Secretariat" of the infamous ncmec.eu who has posted on this page is but one of the aliases that Emmanuel Lazaridis, a known parental kidnapper and pedophile with warrants for his arrest in the US and France. He kidnpped his daughter from her custodial mother in the US when custody proceedings were not going the way he wanted. He went to the Dominican Republic to obtain a divorce and has hopped from there to France and Greece manipulating the complexities of international law and jurisdiction to keep his daughter prisoner. Don't be taken in by his false concern for children's rights or flowery language. He holds a PHD in statistics but, while intelligent, he remains a danger to children... including/especially his own.
