STOP the bullying of Verizon Wireless by known abusers....

The Verizon Foundation has refused our request to remove the false DV
claims on its website: http://foundation.verizon.com/core/domestic.shtml

So beginning on Wednesday, Dec. 14, we will begin a week-long protest at
Verizon stores throughout the country. Put together, this will represent
the largest, most massive protest ever launched by our movement.

All we want you to do is go to a couple of nearby Verizon stores for an
hour and distribute a flyer that will be posted Tuesday evening at
www.saveservices.org .

This is something that persons can do individually or in small groups.

Will you be part of the solution, or just an interested observer? Keep
it simple, have fun, and let's get the job done!

Call up Verizon and let them know they need to stand up to these abusers, pedophiles and bullies.

Action Alert from SAVE Services and Teri Stoddard

*Leahy’s Draft VAWA Bill is a Stinker*

Sen. Patrick Leahy is currently circulating a draft of the Violence Against
Women Act. Even though SAVE representatives repeatedly met with Sen. Leahy’s
staff over the last 2 years, and even though the staffer seemed sympathetic
to our concerns, the draft VAWA totally, completely, 100% misses the mark.
These are the reasons it’s Dead on Arrival:**

- Nothing to make sure real victims get priority – see summary:
http://www.saveserv ices.org/ wp-content/ uploads/Fatally- Flawed.pdf

- Zero attention to false allegations.
- Nothing to rein in DV lies.
- Nada to address mandatory arrest.
- No attempt to make VAWA gender-neutral

Worse, the bill will take the Dept. of Education’s regulation on sexual
assault on campus and turn the “preponderance of evidence” standard into
statutory law – see page 69 of the draft bill: [insert URL of draft bill]

Folks, we need to raise a holy stink about this. *Call your Senator today at
**1-202-224- 3121, and tell him or her to refuse to co-sponsor or support the
bill.* Sen. Leahy’s bill is fatally flawed. Victims of violence deserve
better.

SAVE is a non-partisan 501(c)3 victim-advocacy organization
working for evidence-based solutions to domestic violence.

Actually folks, call your senator at the above numbers and tell TO SUPPORT this bill. If Teri Stodfart of the FAKE DV agency which was created because a peddler of flesh was found guilty of placing a woman in harm's way does not like this bill then we should. SO CALL!!!

If she feels this is bad, then it must actually be stronger than what is already out there and victims (true victims - not those she hunts up who are removed justifiably from homes because they beat women and children) need the help.

SAVE Elert: Bruised Barbie Photo Proceeds Shouldn't Discriminate OR Teri Stoddard again gets it wrong...

Whortie here reporting from the trenches...

Seems Stoddard again is up to her old games only this time she has some deep pockets to help her play them.

SAVE Elert: Bruised Barbie Photo Proceeds Shouldn't Discriminate

This is a photograph (
http://www.saveserv ices.org/ wp-content/ uploads/bruisedb arbie-300x207. png)
taken recently of television star Heather Morris (Brittany from "Glee")
engaged in mock domestic violence with a male model.

In a series of fashion photos, Tyler Shields shows a black-eyed Morris
dressed as Barbie, staring seductively into the camera, and later merrily
pressing a hot iron to her partner's crotch. The photos depict a
getting-what- he-deserves storyline that reinforces serious misconceptions
about domestic violence. Men are stereotyped as abusers, and Barbie
supposedly strikes a blow for victims everywhere.

The truth is that men are just as likely to be the victims of domestic
violence as women (although they are much less likely to report the crime)
and most of the time, domestic disputes result in mutual violence.
Predictably, reactions to the photos have focused only on the abuse to
Barbie: her assault of Ken has been ignored, even though it is the more
serious crime.

Rita Smith, director of the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence
(NCADV), was asked about the photos, but it was as if she had seen a
different set of photos. "I don't know if Tyler is aware but I'm quite sure
there are plenty of women who have been abused by these kinds of household
appliances and children as well being hit with electrical cords," she told
E! News, disregarding male victims everywhere.

Even worse, nothing has been said about the photographer' s donation to an
advocacy group that disregards male victims of domestic violence. Shields
told the Daily Mail that he would donate the proceeds to Glamour magazine's
Tell Somebody campaign, which focuses exclusively on violence perpetrated
against women.

We want you to ask Shields, politely, to select a different beneficiary- one
that serves all victims, whether they are female or male, gay or straight-so
that proceeds from the sale of a photo making light of domestic violence
victims will not go to a project that stereotypes men as the only abusers.

Write to Tyler Shields: info@tylershields. com

Sincerely,

*Teri*

Teri Stoddard, Program Director

Hmmmm still peddling your own statistics I see Ms. Stoddard?

Well Whortie and Petunia and those THOUSANDS of victims that Teri says do not exist are asking you the reader to wrote to the photographer as well and thank Shields for choosing such a wonderful benefactor in order to assist the TRUE victims of domestic violence. You can reach Tyler Shields at info@tylershields.com

Part Two: Teri Stoddard and her claim to fame in Father's Rights circles

As promised more information on Teri - the Queen of Equality. Well she got that half right ;-)

So on to her resume. She now works for S.A.V.E Services which is online at SAVE: Stop Abusive and Violent Environments.

Now this all look peachy doesn't it? A nice new organization to help those victims of abuse. Well dig into it and it does not look so peachy after all. Who (or what) is SAVE Services? Looking at the domain registration shows that Natasha Spivack is the owner (registrant) of saveservices.org. Her email is through encount.com.

Screen shots below in case the owner is mysteriously changed or hidden (and these are saved in case anyone would like them for their own use):

What is encount.com and who is Natasha Spivack?

Eeeny meeeeny miney moe - Encount.com wins first exposure. Encount.com is a mail order bride company run by Natasha Spivack. This is quite interesting given the recent attention that has been made to regulating these types of businesses.

Now why is Natasha Spivack so important? Well it seems that Ms. Spivack was the recent litigant in a case against her and her company Encounters International by one of her former female clients.

Read about one of her male clients here (he was oh so shy yet this was his third marriage?).

Or you can read about Nataliya Fox here and how she was lied to, battered, and traumatized not just by her abusive ex husband, but also by the very organization who should have helped her. Link to appeal from that court case is HERE. Another story about this travesty-turned-fair is HERE. Notice that the case against the alleged abuser was dropped after he was ordered to attend a batterers intervention class in order to have his record expunged AND he claims that Nataliya attacked him. He also claims she was "nutty" and "a fruitcake." Hmmmmmm makes you think doesn't it especially in light of the recent posts on Teri's Single Parent Group on Yahoo?

Now is it just me or is it seemingly odd that a woman who was found guilty and ordered to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to another woman has now started an organization for the falsely accused? And that Teri our own Queen of Equality is helping her in that endeavor?

Now more postings will follow but I think this is enough for now. R tells me she is constantly researching this issue so as to make all of this fair and impartial (instead of the one-sided affair that Teri like to present).

More to come......
